Teddy Ruxpin came out when I was in my early teens. I never had one and never wanted one. however, my mom thought it would be cute to buy me a Teddy Ruxpin spin off. it was a blonde Chucky-like doll called Cricket. that doll creeped out all of my friends, mostly because I kept a Slayer tape in her. hehe... imagine a blonde doll with it's mouth moving incessantly, spouting Slayer, with it's eyes rolling like it's in a great deal of pain. woo.
