I don't think I'm going to listen.

I want to still feel excited when I hold it in my hands. I already listened to Billy Talent III and it made me feel so much less excited.

I feel the same way too. I loved hearing the full Paper Moon, but I'm really looking forward to the experience of enjoying the rest of CD itself for the first time when I get it.

Same here. I've already heard too much. I'm gonna roll the windows down, get in the car, and take a 38-minute drive for my first listen-through.

Just to inform I checked out inmusic.ca

The quality seems to be very good for the streaming. Same as CD quality. What I'll do is rip the songs and share them with you all. Especially for you USA people.

No, Hotspot Shield only works for Canadians trying to get on US-restricted sites, because it gives you a US proxy.

Not for nothing. This is a great idea for the band to allow this to be heard early. I'm not bitching. But I'm going to tell you, this is going to cause the album to be placed on all the torrent sites.

Yeah, what confuses me is why they didn't just release it through the CM or .NET or somewhere that only die-hard fans would really frequent. Putting it up on MSN for everyone to see is just inviting a torrent spread.

A torrent is going to get out no matter what when the CD comes out so I doubt it really makes a difference.

i'm guessing they put it on msn because it's next to impossible to rip stuff off of it using the usual methods

Just tell you computer to record your sound out. Then it will record any sound coming out of your speakers. Good stuff.

That does not work thru my laptop... I used to use that method to stream music randomly on a site about a year ago.

*shakes fist at Vista/Vaio, unsure of the culprit*

Go to Control Panel, Sounds, and try changing "Recording" method default from "Microphone" to "Sound card". That's how I do mine; I have Vista/HP.

Yeah that's how I used to do it on my desktop pc... Sadly it's not an option with the laptop. I'll have to try and find a virtual audio jack that actually works. I had downloaded one, but it's confusing to try and figure out if you're not that experienced with things like that.
