getting old....am old. and find it hard to read everything especially with eyes worn from crying. a four legged friend died today. :(

i feel your pain christine.. nippy passed away and i just found out a few months ago.. i now actually dread going home to florida heh.

MOD would post a little something about a video being debuted on a day. I remember videos coming up - they'd do a countdown on their site, and sometimes, if the video is important enough, they have a little bit of a "minutes until" timer going, too.

I love the new picture, although I too wondered, "Where the eff is Raine?" (I found him) and "Who's the new guy?" (Steve's hiding under his creeper shades.)

I'm not sure where this discussion has gone, and I am too lazy to scoll through 13 pages of posts.

I'm just gonna say a couple things about this new album...

1) Raine's solo record may have helped this album. I think it cleared his head, and kinda re-booted him.

2) I've seen a lot of the band in the past couple years. They've mentioned a lot about song writing and recording - but they have made no mention of a Naveed sound. But after hearing Monkey Brains on youtube - there is a bit of a Naveed hint in there. Just a bit.

3) Unlike the last album, I've been out of the loop when it comes to the songs. Jeremy didn't give me any demo previews. But let me tell you - if they kept what they had goin on in the beginning stages of HIPT, the album would have rocked. I did enjoy the album... but it could have been so much better.

4) OLP has been losing fans since Clumsy. It seems that every album seems to disapoint some, but please others. Meanwhile Clumsy was a huge success for them. Not to mention Gravity... which has given them so many fans. That being said, I've stopped listening to the fans. Think about it - we're not dealing with Bon Jovi's "This Left Feels Right" here. This may actually be good.

My guess is that this album will be great. I'm told it's awesome from a reliable source. This source is not in the band, so it is an objective opinion.

Kruno.....way too long!!

Sand sorry to hear about Nippy - although did he nip? I was just with another puppy who is trying really hard not to bite but training sends them over the top - so much self control.

she did when she was a pup yeah.. my personal fave: she nipped her first vet on the nose and then pissed on him when he gave her an injection :love:
thats my girl tho... take no shit from anyone.. cept my mom (sometimes my dad), grandma and grandpa (he had a cane), my grandma and mom fed most of the time and yeah.. food = win :lol:
when we got her she was 6 weeks old but she outgrew the nipping thing after a few months i think lol
