I'm so frustrated!
I got super sick on Wednesday, and had an essay due on Thursday. So I wrote the prof an email explaining the situation and asking if i would be penalized and by how much. I also left him a phone message to the same effect. His response arrived today:
Bring the paper to the exam. thanks
the exam is this Wednesday. does this mean i have an extension, or am i going to be penalized for lateness? argh!

Eh, figure that you didn't get penalized, and just bring the paper with you to the exam!
