I've never been in the bit of Stonehenge you have to pay for. But I get to drive past it every time I go to my Daddy's house

Also, can you post what camera you have again? I definitely want the same one. Are all of these taken with it?

. I can't tell you all how excited this whole group of pictures makes me - looking through pictures I'd taken years ago, it's really crazy how much I've improved and I'm really proud of myself. So it's really great getting such positive feedback from you all. I want to do professional work of some kind some day, so I'm really trying to work toward that and feedback is very helpful!

Nikki, all pictures except for the ones from Britain, which were taken back in 2003 before I had my digicam, were taken with a Canon Powershot S410. I'm in love with this camera - it's really great. I got it in the last week of 2004 and I've taken almost 7000 pictures in that year and a few months. It's fantastic.

One thing to warn you against - Canon also has these Powershot SD cameras which are basically the exact same camera, only thinner and with a bigger screen, and yet they cost like $50-$75 extra. Personally I think that's a ripoff, especially since smaller cameras are easier to lose and harder to handle, so just watch out for that. Also, I would recommend buying a second battery, since if you're out somewhere using your camera so much that the battery runs down, you're screwed unless you have another battery, since you need a power outlet to charge them. They're kinda pricey but definitely worth the money.

Yeah, I don't like the bigger screens anyway. I'm sure they eat up the battery much faster on top of being more conspicuous in say... a concert crowd.

It'd be nice if my batteries from my old Powershot worked in it, but I doubt it.

That's the one! And it appears to be at a cheaper price than I got mine

. The manual mode is really nice, because you can set shutter speed and exposure time and adjust light and do black and white and all that good stuff. And the depth of field on this camera, as you can really see in pictures like Tobacco, is fucking incredible.

Let me just say that Hannah is absolutely adorable and SUCH a sweetheart.

Today I picked up the mail and had a big envelope addressed to me from "winkflash

" in the pile. I thought, "weird, I don't remember ordering anything that would fit into this type of envelope." I tore it open and what was inside, but two 8x10s and two 5x7s of my favorites of Hannah's beautiful OLP photos. They look fantastic printed.

Thank you!! That was so unexpected and so sweet.

You really put a smile on my face.

I'm thinking that since people's artwork is being included in the CM Anniversary Project, some of your photography should be, as well. Care to give me a group of pictures that I could put in there? Preferably enough to fill up a page or two, so I can give them a header with your name.

If you could send them at the highest resolution possible, that'd be best. Want them to print out as nicely as possible.
