look at the halifax metro centre it holds 8000 people!
that's ridiculous!

No wonder why bands don't come out here. Basically not worth their while. Plus we're out of their way BIG TIME! So economics kicks in. They'll make little or no profit. *record companies*

we obviously need a bigger venue and the government knows it because we complain but they do nothing with our 15 percent of fruckin' taxes we give them!

we had a proposal for a football stadium that would be huge but the "government" stepped in at the last second and stopped it. Greedy bastards!

Did you know that Canada ranks #4 in the world for complainers??? I found that out today on Q104

it depends on what kinda bands and how permanent a venue you want/need
the population of the HRM doesnt necessarily advocate or make it entirely economically feasable for a molson amphitheatre or molson park (barrie) style venue.. nor does the weather, therefore one would need an enclosed venue, ala the metro centre (im not a fan of domed football staduims) anyways... the metro centre is an adequate venue. a proper/adequate venue could be built in/around the commons/citadel hill, etc if the government cared.. but as far as dropping millions of dollars into a football field when theres folks who are starving and such is misuse of funds

kaegan do you know if the Future Shop thingy is the DUALDISC that's being signed? cause ive seen 2 advertisements from future shop so far (one of them in the Georgia Straight.. ugh) and both of those didn't mention a Dualdisc.

BTW vancouver people the HIPT dualdisc and all the other OLP cds are on sale for just on tuesday @ A&B sound for 9.77.

agh, i really wish the autographed thingy is the dualdisc. it's 12.99, does that make sense?

you know what i think is gonna happen with the signed cd's. i think the cd's are gonna be packaged normally, but there will be a stack of signed cd booklets at the cash that the cashier will give to you once you purchase your cd.

when i preordered the dvd, i got it signed. there were 2 booklet things. one inside the case, and the signed one outside of the case, stuffed inside the envelope.

with my david usher CD from maplemusic, i got two booklets, one inside the CD and one signed. i assume it will be the same with OLP.
