Ontario Provincial Election

Post by happening fish »

So... Ontario's Liberal now. Can't say I'm disappointed. Unfortunately, both Burlington ridings re-elected the PC's  Crazy rich-kid city.

What do you guys think of this? Personally, I'm quite excited.

I was glad Welland re-elected their NDP candidate whose been there for 15 years. Kinda disappointed they didn't win as many seats as they thought they would.

It's still early to say whether the Liberals will do well. If they keep a couple of their promises it should be fine in my opinion.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

If the Liberals do what they said they would do, this may be a good turn for Ontario.

But that is a BIG if.

Aww, one thing that's kind of funny/sad is that people were so desperate to oust the Conservatives that even people who usually support the NDP voted Liberal so as to avoid splitting the vote.... so many people did this, in fact, that the Liberals had a landslide and the NDP only won 7 seats, which means it lost its party status  aww

yeah, i'm very pleased that the liberals won, should be great for ontario now... the one thing i hope for is that the money is spread out evenly, rather than toronto getting the bulk of it... we need some gov't funding down here
