Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Post by megxyz128 »

Has anyone seen this yet? I just got back from it. Normally, I don't like action movies. No really, at all. But, this one (along with 1 and 2) were reeeeeeeally good. I don't know what it is about them. Anyway, this movie kicked so much ass, although I did like the bad terminator dude in the second one more than i liked the Terminatrix in this one.

I liked it. It actually had me interested, which is tough for an action film to do to me, so it had to be good. I just wonder what the next movie will be like.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Ya I know, it wasn't as good and coulda been a bit longer, but this was an awesome movie!! and does Arnold ever look good for 56 years old. Well, he'll be 56 at the end of the month, but still!!!

Ya, I hope they have a 4th too. Has it actually be confirmed? Or just hinted at by what's said in the movie?

i saw T2 for the first time ever yesterday. I didnt love it, but for an action movie (especially a '93 action movie) it was good.

now i have to borrow T1 from a friend and then go see the third one.

and they better not wait another 10 years for the fourth or arnold will be in a wheel chair.

i was never impressed with the terminator movies....in terms of the action genre, they never even got close to touching the die hards.....ill see t3 eventually...maybe if they had cut together a better trailer for it, i'd be more interested...but as of now, its at the end of my must see list.

The only thing is, Junior and Jingle All The Way were considered Arnie's "flops" if you will...

Twins did really good. Now if you want to talk about a REALLY REALLY bad Arnie movie, try to find

Hercules In New York

It was Arnie's first American film and his english was SOOOO Broken that they dubbed over his speaking parts with someone elses voice. The guy's voice sounds like it's David Spade trying to sound tough or something. Oh yeah and this film had a budget of like 33 cents... Oh wait, it was a bit more but they bought a big mac and split it with the crew...

Conan rules!

And T2 is one of the best movies ever. T1 is also excellent. I can't wait to see T3.

Please tell me what's going on. The terminator was DESTROYED in the second movie. How is he back in the third? Also, wasn't the war not supposed to happen BECAUSE he was destroyed?

i enjoyed T3. T2 was by far the best, and one of the great classic action movies. I think what did it for me what how Arnold had some emotion, even though he was a cyborg, plus the bond between him and John in that one was great. T3's Arnold lacks that, but there are some interesting plot revelations and the kickass action and stunts make up for it. It was a very enjoyable hour and a half.

How do you guys think this stacked up to Matrix: Reloaded? I personally really didn't think that that Matrix sequal was any good. I'd much rather see T3 or X-Men United again over Matrix: Reloaded. Any thoughts?

I loved all 3, however I personally think the first Matrix was better and the 2nd X-men was better than the first and the 2nd terminator is the best out of all 3.

i'm not sure about x-men. i pretty much like both of them equally, but i definitely think the first matrix was better than the second AND the second terminator is the best of that series
