New Avril video released, from Warchild CD

Post by Clumsythief »

Yes!!! I just downloaded "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" video by Avril Lavigne. Actually, I think that this is the best song from the Warchild CD. The video shows footage of iraqi children and stuffs. Very cool! Fiew, there is no video for OLP "Imagine" because Raine screw that song :(

Why the hell is she covering that song? Does she play songs that are her own anymore? Jesus.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Ha ha you're done. I am talking about how she covers "Chop Suey" by System of a Down, some Green Day song (I think it was Basket Case) and now this. She needs to "write" some more songs.

Funny how everyone is picking on Avril for covering a song for a BENEFIT cd .. yet so did OLP .. not to mention the numerous songs OLP have covered ..

Considering there other bands who can't be bothered with this .. at least Avril is doing something.

perhaps its just the madness that IS Avril.......she only wishes she was as cool as OLP. If it wasn't for OLP's staying power, she'd be unheard of.

Perhaps if the whole teeny bopper thing died a bit (I'm not saying Avril is a teeny bopper) then I wouldn't be so stressed every time I even think about her hahaha..

It only worsens it that Hillary Duff is now on TRL.

Boppers attach themselves to any band .. OLP has their fair share of them as well .. just can't let the boppers stop you from enjoying a band .. they aren't worth it and eventually they'll attach themselves to another flavor of the month.

No clue who this Hillary person is :freak:

Hilary Duff = Lizzie McGuire.... ahh I can't stand her. Plus the fact that on a article about her in a magazine, it said for he tutor she was reading "Catcher in the Rye," and she said she was only about on the fifth chapter, but "Holden was already annoying."

it's this show on the Disney Channel. i heart that show, but I hate hillary duff, ew, she's putting out her own CD, barf.

anyways, i love the disney channel, and nickelodeon for that matter. well, old school nickelodeon, but that's a whole story in itself.

Wow, what a dumb slut. She is now trashing Catcher In The Rye, probably one of the best books made. She probably can't read that book, let alone understand it. But hey, this is what the younger generation gets to idolize, a girl that can't act, can't sing, and talks shit about one the best books ever. Go her.

i think she's like, 15, around there. she has one song out, and her voice is terrible, i'm not even exaggerating. she obviously got a record deal because she's the 'in' thing at the moment.

yeah, she can't even sing. she can carry a tune for 2 minutes, but its not like she would make it past the first round on american idol. plus she's doing tough things in her math class like "FOILing" which i did last year and am the same age as her. she's a smart one.

songs covered by Avril so far... 2 (Chop Suey certainly does not count as she was only joking around)
songs covered by OLP during '95... 5

just thought I'd bring things back on topic a lil more...
