According to this quote, it is the parents responsibility to make sure their kids act appropriately, and not the kids themselves. This places the blame on someone other than the suspect, does it not? Hence, they are at fault by doing nothing, correct? This also implies that the kids need leadership abolishing that whole "no idividual is fit to rule over another." Inconsistent. Inconsistent. where did i say that anybody besides the child is responsible for her actions? i didn't. in fact i made it clear that the child has ALL the choice in the matter while the parent has NONE.

my point about the parenting was that a ten year old girl has NOT finished growing physically or mentally. sex at that age could have long term negative effects. i would teach my daughter to respect herself and hopefully that would mean she wouldn't go around letting men four times her age violate her that way.

of course if my TEN YEAR OLD was mentally far enough a long to want to have sex, you never know, she could be a special girl.

i would serve as a guide to my daughter, not as a ruler. i would not attempt to run her life for her. and if ever i did set rules, they would not be enforcable under pain and penalty of death.
