I'm really glad Raine acknowledged that all musicians always say that their upcoming album is "their best yet," but still was able to stand beside this upcoming album. He seems a lot more honest and genuine when discussing the music itself than he has been in recent years. In the "Gravity" days, Raine and Jeremy pretty much said it was their greatest work, without much explaintion... as if they were just saying it to please execs. Now Raine acknowledges where they've been (both good and bad) and where they're going. He seems confident on where they're going, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks very much for posting that. It was a great read!

Now, with any luck at all, these concerts in sept should really give us a good glimpse at this new material :) .

"I had a discussion with one of these artists that I’m working with right now and I asked her what she’s been doing the last week when I was doing something else and couldn’t record with her. She’s been on MySpace twelve hours a day trying to get her friends up. And I'm like, "Fuck, that’s so sad.""

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

12 hours a day. Damn that is alot. I do not know anyone who is on line that long. Even people who work with computers.

If I can get on an hour or two a day( computer) I am lucky..

It was one of the better articles. I did not read it all yet-jsut bits and pieces.. It seems Raine has been very honest in interviews over the last year. I can not wait to hear the new cd.. I think it will be interesting if nothing else..
