The Best Day Of your Life/Where Are You?

Well, I'm sure most if not all of you know that originally "Where Are You?" was a different song that was on Promosquad as "The Best Day Of Your Life". Personally, I, and I'm sure many other people liked that version better (Not to say I don't like Where Are You, because the song's grown on me, it's always fun to sing it at the top of my lungs...) but anyways, back to the point...

I was just wondering if anyone had got the ingenious thought to EDIT "Where Are You?" to change the song to a longer version of "The Best Day Of Your Life", I know, it probably still wouldn't be exactly as OLP had the original version, but there's still enough to do it with...I've actually edited it this way myself several months ago (Haha, while I was an even less active lurker), but I don't think the edit I did is very good, I sort of messed it up where it says "But this could be the best day of your life"

So yeah, I was just wondering if anyone with better sound/music editing skills had thought of, tried, or succeeded in doing it, if anyone wants to hear the horrible edit I did, let me know and I suppose I can post it or something

Pretty much all I think I did is replaced the WAY chorus with the one from TBDOYL and left everything else in the song intact, I tried to get the volume levels to match up too, but incase I haven't already said it, I'm a horrible sound editor, so it really didn't do all that much, but I suppose it's listenable

So yeah, pretty much I was just wondering if anyone had or could try to make an edit better than mine...yeah, i'm horrible at getting straight to the point then stopping at it, but hey it's 4:30 AM, I have an excuse, I'm delirious!

I tried a few months ago... i'm actually quite happy with some of the cuts but the main problem is that the promosquad clip that you're unfortunately forced to cut from is kind of distorted and at a lower decibal level than the studio version. I suppose you could combine the best day promosquad clip and the where are you promosquad clip but the problem there is that the where are you clip didn't include the second verse if i'm remembering correctly... Now I almost want to try this again lol Maybe I will after work..

Haha, my cuts were horrible....pretty much all of them, the worst problem though (Which you can now hear) is when it says "But this could be the best day of your life" I think I ended up cutting something I shouldn'tve out, but I didn't feel like going in and fixing it (I'm lazy)

and I don't think the Promosquad clip of Where Are You has the 2nd verse either, of course once again, I'm too lazy to check, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't. Haha, either way, there's an expert somewhere out there that can get it to sound decent
