really, and just because you think that the way it's been done all along is wrong makes it wrong? considering that most every war in history has been done like this has shown it effectiveness. you shouldn't have instagated the fight if you know that he's going to kick your ass and make you do things you don't want to. in the case of Sadamn it's leaving those people alone so that they can live in peace.

that's right America is guilty of not accepting humanatarian aid and thus letting his people die. they are guilty of killing a certain group of their own countrymen because they are different. they bulldoze the homes of these people and force them to live in Bush City right?

you know i hear about countries like Iraq that kill people because they are different. and there are other countries out there that hate the US because we are different and have a different way of thinking. people think that racism in the US is really bad but when you get to other countris you will certainly find out that thier own vision of racism is faw worse then the US. racism is moronic, and should not be accepted at any level. but here in the US we don't kill people because they ae different. Iraq is worse off then the US and you know that. either way we need to get rid of racism all together.
capo and corey....take it from here man, i got a class to go to.

they kill you for being different in the US, too.

The US does not kill you based on your race/religion/sex/etc. If you believe different, show me proof that they do.

not to their own people, they just pay for other people to do it [ israel ] or head to other countries and do it there.

there's the classic example, the apartheid. lots of killing in that one. also, wasn't it something like, when 9/11 happened, people were terrorizing (excuse the irony) innocent Muslim people just because they were of the same religion as Bin Laden and his boys? i'm not saying that the u.s. is the be all and end all of racist killing or whatever. racism, as condemned as it is, is still a natural part of human emotions. it really can't be helped. like the tendency to bash someone on the head if they piss us off.
about the whole different countries, different people thing, look at it this way. if you take a group of cm'ers, stand them together and draw a boundary around their feet, are they suddenly a different kind of people that have no real relation to the rest of us anymore? if we don't like how they behave it's because they're from a different region now, right?
saddam (not even iraq. hasn't it already been established that saddam doesn't care about the people of iraq, just himself?) does some things the u.s. doesn't like. so of course the u.s. has to bomb iraq to straighten them out and right their ways and be the saviours at the end of the day. that's just blatant ethnocentrism. i love how humans have to make each other different from one another in order to understand them. by the sounds of it you'd think we're all different species or something
all that said and done, agree or disagree, i've got a question: How is what Bush wants to do and probably will do any different from what Bin Laden did? this greatly confuses me and i'd really like to understand it.

One man was killed. Prove that it was about race and that the government told them to do it.

i can't prove that it was about race, that would require me to get into their heads.
but the writing on the wall is there. 41 bullets for one unarmed black man.
they are the government, corey.

Bush is sending a WARNING to Saddam to comply to RESOLUTION TREATIES or he will attack and defeat his ARMY.
Laden attacked non-military targets without a warning.
Different, no?

No. The goverment isn't a person or thing. It is a set of guidelines and regulations and constitutions. None of those articles say that black men shall be shot 41 times.

the people who ultimately make government work, those who are essential to governments existence, are the ones who hold the guns and point them at you.
the mayor & courts of new york also decided that these police men were innocent. they said they could not find sufficient proof that the man was denied his right to not be subjected to unreasonable force.
excuse me? 41 bullets is reasonable?
the best part is that you haven't even come out and said this is wrong.
and "Bin Laden" attacked a military target; the pentagon. he probably thought the twin towers were missile silos.
your government has told iraq they ARE going to attack. they haven't said when.

You said that if any person is pointing a gun at an american, they have the right to be killed.
Then you said that Saddam is forcing teenagers to go to war.
So basically, you're saying that if they don't fight, they will be killed and if they do fight, they will be killed. Yes, war definatly 'prevents death'. My ass, it does.

true, but where are the armies? hidden in baghdad among about 1/5 of iraq's population. you can't expect to bomb them without killing innocent people in the process. and it's not like bush doesn't know saddam isn't going to leave. i'll blab about the rest later. right now i have to get to class

it's US soldier, not just any american...then i said he might have them forced to fight, but from what i saw on the news it wasn't the case. and yes war prevents death. war isn't about dying for your country, it's about making the poor son of a bitch on the oposition die for his.....guess who said that? if your willing to die for your country, so be it, innocent civilians are going to be saved, though a few might not make it, that happens in war.
crap...another class, laters.
