I wasn't beaten or anything as a child...i mean we arnt talking abuse. I mean that if you fuck something up, you pay for it. This causes the creation of a conscience.

i was spanked when i was bad. it never really helped. i think it just made me angry. when i was 13, i hit back. so it stopped. now my parents and i get along great.

...they last spanked me when i was 6 and for some reason they decided that taking the phone away from me after that was more suitable than a spanking...i was 7...i diddnt even use the phone at the time!!!!

We got beaten with a belt and got soap put in our mouth if we lied or cursed or something when we were younger but my parents are def not that strict anymore with my brothers and sisters.

my folks were pretty strict on my older sister, but she rebelled so much that it made it even worse for me. After a while though, I lulled them into a false sense of security. To this day my mom still thinks I'm a 'perfect kid'.

Trent speaks the truth. You make them think you're the "perfect kid", and then they just stick with that notion and you're set.
