agreed about fighting Tyson again. he has nothing to prove.

but the pay day for Tyson Lewis II will be bigger then any payday he could grab against either Klitchko.

Personally I'd love to see Lewis fight Vlad. At least it would be entertaining.

doug's right. lewis is gonna wipe his ass with tyson again and make a bucketload of bling bling to do it. if i were lewis i'd fight tyson as many times as i could before i went on to somebody who could actually beat me.

tyson is a cash crop. wouldn't you want to fight his dumb ass as many times as he'd let you?

yeah thats true.

I'd rather pay more money to see an Arturo Gatti VS Mickey Ward III fight. Jesus Christ, those guys damn near killed each other the first time. 8O

did you see Ward/Gatti II?

it was good but lacked the show-stopping power of the first one. I think they've fought eachother enough times now.

well yeah nothing is going to come close to gatti ward 1. it was a good fight still, it just wasn't as good. the fact that before the fight they sold stuff on auction sites to benifit Gerald McClellan didn't help either...no one wants to turn out like that guy. Gerald McClellan VS Nigel Benn....that fight was insane.

^^ oh man you got to look for the details of that fight. ugly ass fight. in round one McClellan Put Nigel Benn through the ropes, he gets back in, surrvives the round and then in round 9 he gets knocked down again. But in round 10 he knocked down McClellan and when McClellan got up he was blinking alot. eventually McClellan quit on his stool, but then passed out. He suffered some life threatening injuries. he's blind, paralized, and can only hear from one ear. that was a bizzare fight back in 1995, in the docklands out in England somewhere.

I think its safe to say that not all Canadians feel the same way you do. Specifically the French Canadians.

I recently read an article where a Canadian coach criticized one of his swimmer's because she brought a Quebec flag to the podium at the Commonwealth Games.

The french obviously are descendents of France, and therefore they view the ties with the French as important. We have done nothing to tell Quebec that they can't have their french heritage. If anything we promote it and it can be found in every other province in Canada.

The fact is the british fought to save our country from the Americans. That cannot be ignored and if it was not for them Canada might not exist today.

The incident was the belief of one coach and I honestly do not recall this ever happening if it in fact did.

The fact remains though that the french have played a critical role in the build of our country, but they were not the ones to establish a government here. If they had than maybe it would be different today but of the 4 provinces which started Confederation, 3 were made up of the british.

I live in a Ontario town filled with French heritage. Of the 10 public schools 4 are french and one is an immersion program. While of the 5 high schools, 2 are french and one is even for the french catholics. we have sections of town where everything is french, and the same can be found in almost every city I've had the chance to visit which has been almost all of Southern/central Ontario.

Oh, it happened. I found more than one article referring to the incident. The coach did make a public apology however.

ok well if you have proof than thats fine, I wouldn't doubt it happened really but i think the fact he apologizes settles it.

Well not really. I'd say 90% of all public apologies are because someone tells that individual that what they said was stupid and to clean up their mess. They do it in hopes to get themselves out of a jam before they get too deep.

true but no one ever knows if it is a true apology or not. It's damn near impossible so you can't debate that

:wtf: dude i was looking for info on the fight and it turns out that it's not going to happen after all. i think he got hurt in training or something. now that guy Acelino Freitas is fighting is the good old Juan Carlos Ramirez. that's weird. It's still going to be an ass kicking...I mean come on, any guy named "Ranchero Ramirez" doesn't have a chance. I think this is the guy that at one point in his life used to live in a cave. :freak:
