you're right corey, it is in fact an oxymoron. excellent point. i intend to drop the phrase from my vocabulary.

even without the nobel prize, Friedman is a genius and a brilliant economist.

Ok, rather then make a new thread, i'm just going to bump this one:

Where are the weapons of mass destruction that iraq supposedly had? how come the army can't find them?

Anybody know?

Didn't they find a couple of ancient skulls while searching? These skulls had sharp objects near them that may have been crude weapons. Perhaps these are the WMD...?

people.

saddam did not have weapons. what he had was a system in place made of seemingly benign things (shoes, dictionaries) etc. from which he could INSTANTLY generate them.

jeez.
