Please visit the Matthew Good appreciation thread for 101 reasons Matt Good is way better than OLP could ever be.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

haha. i have, and i do. i should clarify that what i meant in my first post was that i think OLP is good at SONG VARIATIONS rather than SETLIST variations. i've been to ONE olp show and they played 6 songs, in which 2 of them had some kind of variety to it. im not completely stupid - i know olp sucks at varying up their setlists.

that said, i know what you mean about the BSS and MG shows. BSS took requests for a couple of their songs, and had unexpected surprises. compared to BSS, olp IS, in fact, as you say, a generic rock show.

ps. i realize this post sounds juvenile compared to your post... i just wanted to clarify it because you and i aren't really talking about the same thing.
haha no problem. my post was probably only partly in response to you. I started off responding to you and then went off in another tangent so no worries.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
