And how were they compared to Seether?xjsb125 wrote:My Darkest Days were surprisingly pretty good live. I didn't have a lot of expectation for them, but their lead guitar player was really good. They need to lose the keyboard, all the keys sounded the same on every song. Same pattern over and over. Otherwise, I'd give them a hi C, low B.xjsb125 wrote:This isn't news, but a question. Are any of you Canadians familiar with My Darkest Days? I'm seeing Seether next month, and MDD is opening for them.

Rock is dead, and paper killed it.
I've always enjoyed Seether live. Last night was the 6th time I've seen them perform. MDD had a good stage presence, great crowd interaction, and got as much back from the crowd. Stacked against Seether, I felt they did well. If they came back through with another band I liked, I'd probably record them.

Nice! I liked a few songs on Splendor Solis, most of The Edges of Twilight and Transmission, and about half of TRIPtych. Didn't care for anything else, but I wouldn't mind them making some new music if the music was decent again.DG wrote:http://www.thebarrieexaminer.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3091400

And it was released today along with Staircase! Recorded during their "From the Basement" session that was broadcast earlier this year.faninor wrote:Also, I was really looking forward to hearing a studio version of The Daily Mail. Hopefully it'll be on a future release!

This isn't OLP related, but another project I've been working on for a long time. A few years ago I filmed this concert, then teamed up with some other fans to create this. I've worked on it off and on for the last 4 years, and am finally able to release it. This is a full length concert, with all fan-sourced footage (with the exception of video from Rob Sheridan). If you are interested in downloading the DVD version of it, simply visit reflectinginthechrome.com and follow the link there. Enjoy!

Robin from OLP plays in a cover band in Toronto called Dwayne Gretzky. Here's a video of her singing a cover of Somebody To Love by Queen: http://youtu.be/RRLc8mU7zrk
