Just in case people still need to buy tix for any shows coming up! Ends at Midnight ET tonight.
Wed 8/5 Only - no service fee tix for US shows through Live Nation
But ... But ...
How will ticketmaster make money if there are no service fees??
OHHH Wait I know they'll charge a 'Convenience fee' instead.
No Convenience fee you say? What about the ticket printing fee?
Placing order via the automated phone attendant fee? Talking to a person fee? Venue charge?
Does not compute.

Actually all of Live Nation shows are like that. HOB in Cleveland is two for Tuesdays. Buy one ticket, get one free on upcoming shows when purchased on Tuesdays. I have not seen the OLP show on there yet though.. So not sure about that one.

Live Nation will still make money because they probably own half the venues OLP is playing at or otherwise are involved in the shows -- they're not just a ticketing service. But yeah, they probably have half those other fees too!Kicker774 wrote:But ... But ...

I actually was charged an extra fee for going to the ticketmaster office and getting my tickets from a real person when I bought tickets for a Weakerthans/Constantines concert. It worked out to an extra $3 or something.Kicker774 wrote:But ... But ...

I was not happy. Especially considering that I stood there for almost half an hour because the old dude could not find the concert in the system whatsoever. I should've just bought online and saved the hassle, but nooo, I thought I may save money by talking to a real person. Never again...
