Yeah, I haven't seen any of these. Also, isn't Slumdog Millionaire a 2009 release? :P

Where? It didn't hit anywhere around here until February, at least.

I think it was one of those deals where it was only open in select cities, and then as buzz grew it opened in more theatres. I know that it was playing at the local indie theatre before Christmas and then before the Oscars it started playing everywhere.

i believe the limited release was in late 2008. early 2009 was the wide release. also, i think for the purpose of the oskars, the eligible year falls between last year's awards and this year's.

unless i'm just making that up. which i could be :nikki:
