however, this show is at the horseshoe, right?
filming from further away to get the whole band may not work out too well..people seem to crowd the front from when i've been there..
i've never filmed a show with this camera..i hope it'll sound okay >_>

The sound shouldn't be a problem, even if the audio on your camera doesn't end up okay I think Nikki will be recording on minidisc, so we'll be able to pick out the best audio when we mix it together.

That's great... I really think if we can get a few people in the general bootleg/taping community to check out Pedestrian, there's a good chance some will end up fans. They usually recognize talent when they hear it. And that would mean more shows being taped, and perhaps even more people checking them out and becoming fans.

This band chose a dangerous name. If they rock, it's irony. But if they suck, they doom themselves to a lifetime of bad headlines from rock writers who will take advantage of an easy target because, you know, we're lazy like that. Fortunately, this Los Angeles-based rock outfit stay mostly on the ironic side with a complex, interesting album of spacey-sounding songs that are loud and demanding of the listener's time. Lead singer-songwriter Joel Shearer worked as a guitarist for both Alanis Morissette's and Damien Rice's touring bands before venturing out on his own. Pedestrian toy with extremes and some songs veer dramatically between gentle and ear-piercing. Side note: they count Raine Maida as a friend and supporter, so take that for what you will. CCC1/2
i actually liked that lil review thing in Chart (just saw it today in the mag). i would give it exactly that many C's. but "Pedestrian" is pretty much the worst band name in the entire universe. Joel needs to do some vocab homework. the side note is just Chart being themselves, whatever.
heh, i like the name, i don't see what's so bad about it. i think it's humble. and like it says in that review, the worst critics will be able to do is make dumb headlines, and nobody with a brain or a decent sense of humour really laughs at those anyway.
Joel and company will be back out on tour in November opening for My Brightest Diamond, as well as being her backup band. They will be hitting Eastern Canada, as well as the northern parts of the US midwest.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

But Matty now that you're already taken, where will I go?!
