so was the their current lead singing back up on Tell All Your Friends, or has he always been lead? they definitely sound different.

Well now I'm not so sure. I remember reading backup singer, and I'm pretty sure Adam did lead on Ghost Man. Lemme go get my TAYF cd and look...

The liner notes don't say explicitly, and they probably switched off on some songs, but I'm pretty sure Adam was lead on most of TAYF.

Voice evolving possibly? I haven't listened to TAYF in the past few days, but the parts I'm going through in my head I'm pretty sure are Adam. I definitely could be wrong, though. And the new guy does sing a lot in their second cd. Adam wasn't their original lead singer though, that's for sure.

yeah. TAYF doesn't really sound like John, that's why i wasn't sure to begin with. So chances are it was Adam.

To be fair the new stuff is growing on me, but maybe it's just john's influence that's lacking.

I honestly don't know who changed in the band. Unless I really love them or they are coming here I sort of disconnect the music from all that scene crap that goes along with music nowadays.
Nonetheless, the first time I heard MakeDamnSure all I could think of was "Thats not the band I fell in love with"

Haha, I still like the new album. Actually I've been listening to it more than anything else. But I guess it just sounds like a different band to me.
