3 years ago today - was OLP's last European show. It was also Mike E's last show with them (and I got a drunken Mike hug )
2 years ago today - I had the first of my icky operations.
1 year ago today - I was at Nikki's aunt's house having Easter dinner with her wonderful family.

and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
Friday = My sister coming home for the weekend
Saturday = work (boo), then more hanging out with my sister (yay!)
Sunday = sister goes home (boo), Matt Fucking Good concert! (omgholyshityay)
So, there's this intramural event here at UBC called Storm the Wall. Each 5 person team does a 225 yard swim, a 450 meter "sprint", a 2.8km bike, a 1km run, and then scales a 12 foot tall wall (all 5 people have to go over the wall).
I did this today as the swimmer on the Physics Bunnies (we're in physics and we're oh so damn cute). And despite the fact that we weren't expecting to advance, we did. So I get to do it all again on Wednesday.
As and additional note, last Friday was the first time I swam in about 3 months. I'm rather out of shape.

So in 10 days I am going to visit my daddy and Russell is coming with me to meet him. *hyperventilates* I am soooooo nervous, but I am excited too cos I get to spend the whole weekend with Russell. And my daddy already likes him just cos my mummy doesn’t teeheehee. This is gonna be so crazy. With in the first few hours he gets to meet a large portion of my family cos it’s my auntie’s birthday and we are having a family get together…15-20 in one house all of whom will be asking him and me questions some of which are likely to make us both uncomfortable.*faints*
