Jason was fun last night. though not as fun as last time I saw him. Before he was on his own and acoustic and very chatty and stuff, but this time he had the band so there was less of that - the best songs were where it was just 3 of them and then a big crazy ending to the Remedy which included bits of Wonderwall. Also, the stage is a little low in that venue and there were many tall people so I struggled to see without standing on tiptoes and it's hard to enjoy yourself as much when you legs hurt and are shaking all over the place.
I hope he comes back again soon just acoustic.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
jason's taking me to go see matt good on april 21st.

...and this is me hanging on / i'd burn our initials in the sun if it would shine / anxiety chokes me like razor wire / if hate's in your heart man, you'll take what you're given / wake up / i'm not the only one / it's never goodbye / go ahead and play dead / if everyone's a casualty, then take your time, there ain't no trouble / these wounds they will not heal / ambition can be a tricky thing / what the hell do i know about rape anyway? / this is not what i hoped for / ain't it so weird how it makes you a weapon / who will be there to tell me how stupid i am? / those living for death will die by their own hand / and it's me that I am spying on / pick up the pieces and live with the stars / hurry up and wait / things have never been so swell / they're always the ones who slowly drift / be great / ...and this is my world.

Yeah... just from listening to his live album, he's not nearly as interesting with the full band. I've listened to it once since owning it (and haven't even bothered watching the DVD yet). I still wanna see him again, with full band or not, though.
Also, about The Remedy with Wonderwall...

According to someone on the Mraz board it was recorded so hopefully you'll get to hear the Remedy I love how bands come to England and feel they have to do Oasis covers. The Rand McNally song was really good too - loads of extra bits thrown in.

Hahahahah yeah, I've heard a LOT of bands do Oasis covers over there.
And yay for bootleggers!!

I'm going to see The Fray tonight. I bought the tickets almost 2 months ago and almost forgot that I bought them until I got the reminder email from Ticketmaster. Now I have to get myself nice and juiced up for it. I'm debating whether or not they're worth me showing up uber early to be able to stand in the front. I mean, OLP, no question, always show up as early as I possible can (ie. Rocky, Lord that was cold), but the Fray....ehhh...we'll have to wait and see.
I'm going to 3 concerts next week - it might just kill me :S
Monday - Boy Kill Boy
Wednesday - Death Cab for Cutie
Friday - Jack Johnson
