The Ex show was my first OLP show and it was amazing but, I also saw them play in Craven and that show wasn't very good. All I'm saying is that they need to have a better tour schedule for up here...like the old days. For the Trailer Park tour for example, they could have easily played more shows through out Canada. But like I said, that lack of touring here is really hurting them.

so? i would have rather paid for a good show then go to a free crappy show where everyone and their mother was there who didn't even like olp and had better seats than me :cuss:

i don't think it was that bad... and i didnt see anyone with their mother :P but it was annoying because i was near the front and than these little kids ( like 11 or 12) squeezed through right infront of everyone, and we were waiting there for all that time! ugh.. and nobody was singing!! it wasn't bad.. it was just weird. everyone was just looking at raine and not singing, but i thought it was still good :)

I liked the Best Buy show and luckily near us everyone was singing along so we had a great time :)

yeah, that's kinda making me nervous. :uhh:

i mean, i love Boy and all, it's one of my favourite songs off the album (hell, i even voted for it), but i'm still not sure if it's the best choice for a single.

but whatever. until a single is actually released, this is all speculation.

I don't even listen to U2, and U2 was the first thing I thought of when I heard Boy for the first time.

So yeah, they're going to get bitched about for that.

Of course we're speculating but if Boy is the next single I don't think it's the right choice. After taking lots of time off to do this record, to put out a single that will remind many people of a U2 song... argh. I already spend enough time defending HIPT to people!

Aside from the opening melody the song has no U2 feel to it at all IMO, but aside from that.. I like it as the next single, hell...who cares, having another single coming out regardless of what it is is cool enough

Oh it sounds like U2. I had HIPT playing on my iPod at work one time, and U2 came on the Kohl's sound system while Boy was on. It was a very 8O moment, to say the least.

So yeah, I agree with you guys... I'm afraid of what will be thought/said if it's the next single. Seems like a very bad choice. :uhh:

I think that WTSOYF would make the best single, it would totally bring back some of the older fans who used to think OLP were awesome but kinda lost track.

:lol: Did you really? I somehow knew it was Boy... how on earth... oh wait! That's right, the setlist was right in front of me and I couldn't avoid looking at it even though I wanted to. :lol:

Don't know how credible a source Wikipedia.com is when it comes to OLP, however, under the singles section of the page it says, "Picture or Will the Future Blame Us" right after Angels. Eh, who knows?

It's not reliable. :lol: The majority of the recent edits on there have been done by me. I have no idea who added that single info, but it made me go :wtf:.
