What kind of morals do YOU have???

Found this on another message board. It's very thought provoking...

This test only has one question, but it's a very
important one. By giving an honest answer, you
will discover where you stand morally. No one
else will know, so you won't be fooling anyone
but yourself if you give anything but a truthful
answer.

The test features an unlikely, completely
fictional situation in which you will have to
make a decision. Remember, your answer needs to
be honest, yet spontaneous. Please read slowly
and thoughtfully, giving due considerationto
each line.

Here's the situation:

You are in Louisiana; New Orleans to be specific.
There is chaos all around you caused by a
hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of
Biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist
working for a major newspaper, and you're caught
in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying
to shoot career-making photos. There are houses
and people swirling around you, some disappearing
under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its
destructive fury. Suddenly you see a man
floundering in the water. He is fighting for his
life, trying not to be taken down with the debris.

You move closer...somehow the man looks familiar.
You suddenly realize who it is. It's
George W. Bush, President of the United States!!
At the same time you notice that the raging
waters are about to take him under...forever.
You have two options - you can save the life of
G.W. Bush, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer
Prize winning photo, documenting the death of
one of the world's most powerful men.

So here's the question, and please give an
honest answer:

Would you use color or black and white film?

That was dumb because it sets you up to be immoral or immoral based on your political affiliation.

i don't get this. what does choosing between black and white and color have to do with morals? it's not like the thing's asking "would you save his life or take the picture?" anyway, i would use black and white. because it would look more, you know, yeah. classy.

they're just assuming that no one would save him

i think in reality, if you see someone who you can potentially save, i don't think it matters who they are and what they've done...i think your natural reaction would be save them...or at least that would be mine and i hope it would be others too

well, see, that's what i thought when i first read it, but then everyone was taking it so seriously i thought there must be something i'm missing. it looks like i'm both very slow and very fast on the uptake.

I'm with you. I'd save him even though I TOTALLY disagree with his politics. Human life is more important than that. I would hope that due to the trauma he went through that he would be unable to be president just for the next, oh, 3 years or so...but I'd save him.

But come on...that's not the question! The question is WHAT TYPE OF FILM WOULD YOU USE?!?!?

I was like rolling on the floor when I read that.. then I got severely confused when like, the first 5 responses took it seriously.. lol... again.. dittoing LuckyJQ9 on this one.. if I was republican I'd be offended.. but seeing as I'm not either.. it's f'ing hilarious...

btw.. I'd take b&w film.. I love b&w photos.. they're so much cooler than color (imo)
