Google just picks up the fact that across the internet the term "miserable failure" is often associated with a link to that page, so it takes you there.

I did not know that. I did know however, that you must be careful when typing in google to make sure you hit the "g" instead of "b" otherwise you will come across a very different type of search engine. One that will not aid you in your search, unless you're Lando I suppose.

this is also way too late, but google has a section dedicated specifically for academic searches. http://scholar.google.com . i didn't know about that until yesterday, and i use google for everything
