Christ almighty. Need help pulling something out of your ass? I really didn't mean to be mannerless. I'm doing a bunch of shit at once and was replying pretty fast. I'm not a dick.xjsb125 wrote:Okay captain manners, how about you say "thank you" or you go buy the damn magazine yourself. Way to be ungrateful.
Anyway, thank you very much teedus. The pictures are great. Sorry for that, my replies were rude.

Hahah, oh. Well, I kinda gave up but here's a preview of it for what it's worth:
It was chaos. Park Place in Barrie had become completely swarmed by excitable festival-goers eagerly anticipationg the historical event to take place. For that day, they would be connected to the world through music and idealism, politics and passion. They were there to make a difference, to make their voices hear, to challenge the most powerful leaders on the planet and to take in one hell of a rock show. Backstage, as the musicians arrived they were invited to watch footage of the plight in Africa, to read statistics, to fully understand why there were there. Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida knew all too well why there were there. As he watched the atrocities on the screen, he knew that the live debut of their latest single, "Where Are You?" was not the reason for climbing on the stage that day.
"Music for me at that time became just a secondary thing," says Maida, thinking back to Live 8. "Earlier in the week in Toronto you read these reports of people slagging the concert because it's all these old folks, but like Tom Cochrane, he lives it, he's been to these places throughout his career and even if you don't like his music, here's a guy who puts his money where his mouth is, same with Bruce Cockburn and all those guys."
