I updated Winamp, and now I can't play .mpg It'll just play the first few seconds of audio, with no video, then stop. Winamp then feezes (not responding).

Install that program, and everything should work fine.

Ok, so, here it goes ...

I just got a new computer for the upcoming school year. But, I have a about 1000 mp3 files on my mother's desktop that are also on my iPod. What is the best & quickest way to get them transfered onto my new computer? There are just so many of them?

Anyone?

ANYONE!?

Without you I'm as good as
dead ...

Can you just plug the iPod into the new computer, and transfer the songs over?

Yeah, adding the harddrive with all the files to the new computer temporarily while you transfer them would be the fastest way... but don't do that unless you know a bit about computers.

Other than that, Robbo's idea sounds good to me.

You can try using CopyPod .. http://www.copypod.net/bin/CopyPod_v7.61.exe .. That's the best one I could find.

The only downside is it extracts your songs in a format of "Artist - Album - Song" so you might have to do a bit of renaming

As long as it doesn't change the ID3 tags, that's not a huge deal.

You mean Media Player Classic?

Or do you actually want old school WMP?
