I have a serious work problem and I have NO idea how to deal with it, if indeed I do at all.

This woman I work with, her name is Debbie. She's got a bad rep for being bossy and stuff, but that isnt the problem. We were casually discussing churches and stuff and came to the topic about Homosexuality. She proceeded to tell me "The Gays" were going to burn in hell, and that anyone who supported/condoned their actions was secretly homosexual and God would punish them too. Then she likened Gay Marriage to a Man/Woman being able to marry a dead body.

This was about 5 minutes before I was off, and she and I were the only two working. What do I do? I was speechless. Angry, maybe, but mostly speechless and then upset.

My friends say to talk to management. Is that what I do??

yes. talk to management. this is offensive conduct and it should not be permitted. ask management to keep your name out of any discussions they have with her about it in order to prevent hostility.
