My parents trust me too, and they've never been like, "What are you reading and why are you reading it?". It's been more of just a general observance over my behavior and what I read. I don't lock myself in my room to read all the time, I just read wherever. So it's not like they don't have an idea about what it is. If I was reading Mein Kempf when I was 14 they'd probably watch me closely and make sure it wasn't an indication of something else. Of course...if there was an indication of something else...I'd probably try really hard to hide it. Hm. Nevermind, I just disproved my own point.I've never even been monitered I dont think. My parents just trust me. I've read alot of controversial stuff in the past, they think its neat that I take an interest in stuff like it.

my parents normally know what i'm reading, and they haven't ever said "you can't read that!" until what my dad said yesterday. although then he did say, "if you need to read it, well fine, but i'd rather you don't." i never expected him to say that about any book. i guess i'm just used to reading what i want, i've never had to go "hey mom/dad, can i read this?" and i do read a lot.

i hate all books. so that's my position.
Whenever death may surprise us,
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
my boots are broken my brain is sore, fer keepin' up with thier little world, i got a heavy load.
gonna leave 'em all just like before, i'm big city bound, your always 17 in your hometown
let it be welcome
if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear
and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.
Nobody's gonna miss me, no tears will fall, no ones gonna weap, when i hit that road.
