what does it mean when you meet a guy and he calls you the next day? i thought all guys had a rule that you have to wait at least 3 days or something of that nature. i didn't really feel like talking to anyone, so i didn't even pick up the phone.

No, all guys don't have those bullshit rules. He called you the next day because he wanted to talk to you.

Period.

You have to simplify, people! You can't read into things like this. Chances are he's in the same boat, asking his friends: "So, I met this girl, and I called her the next day, and she didn't answer. What does it mean?"
