I think my school does some rose thing for valentines day or something. I suppose I could simple ask her out, but there is the matter of some guy that she likes in her class. Bah I'll figure something out.

The worst thing you could possibly do is not let her know then. If she's interested in someone else, you have to let her know you're interested in her. Valentine's day is too far away to do that also!

The lunch thing is a great idea, or if you're good enough friends, one thing to do is ask her to help you go Christmas shopping. You can play it off as "We're guys and suck at shopping etc..." And if she has shopping to do, she'll almost definitely say yes.

If she ever would come on msn long enough for me to talk to her. Everytime I try it's her little brother. Also she lives a tad bit away... But first I need people to shop for otherwise excellent plan.

Why the FUCK is the girl, boy formula back!?

If she's still with the BF, don't try making a move right away, just start as friends. But if you're going to the prom together this is a good way for her to start to feel something for you, (don't hit on her constantly like a jerk) and she could start to become interested in you. Just be polite and tell her all the appropriate compliments when you see her all dressed up.

If there's ever doubt she'll stay with the long distance relationship, that's her decision. You're not gonna win her by screaming "DUMP HIM! YOU'RE MINE NOW WOMAN!!"

So take it slowly, if she's interested and her other relationship falls through, then you have a chance. But starting as friends and not scaring her off is important in your situation... Because the closer you become will help your situation, she might end the relationship with the other guy because it's Long Distance and she's started to like you, you just have to act accordingly.
You might end up as her shoulder to cry on if it's hard for her to end her other relationship, but then you also don't want to be the "rebound guy" either. They don't last long and once she's over her ex, she'll move on from you too then.

If you want this girl, you're going to have to do things properly, and it could be easy, but it could also be a lot of work. However, if she's worth it, the work and time you may have to endure only being "friends" will seem non-existent once you're with her.

Also... her being insanely hot could mean that Lando's the only one hot enough for her. So unless she likes muppet frogs, stick to miss piggy and play the safe hand.
