What reporter days could you have had if you're not even 19? How old are you anyway? Just curious . . . what type of digital recorder are you using? And what model? Does it have a built in mic? If there's a record volume level be sure to have it turned down plenty far.

]If the minidisc player has a "mono mode" be sure to enable it. It will double the amount of time you can record on a single disc. You should be able to fit the whole concert onto one disc if it is in mono mode. Plus with a built in mic, you likely wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a mono and stereo recording anyway.
If you get it recorded, you should send the disc to me to transfer to CD and mp3 for you . . . I have a good minidisc deck with digital output and a sound card with digital input, so there is no loss of quality when copying from minidisc to CD. Transfers done from the portable minidisc players require using an analog line, and the recording usually ends up with some background hiss and/or other bad qualities. Cost me a good $450 . . .
I can talk to you on AIM or Windows Messenger if you want any tips on how to make the recording the best you can.
