I started an online journal!

Post by trentm32 »

Actually, I've had one for a while now, I just didn't do much with it. Since I don't have time to work the website I once ran (www.bsone.net) I've decided to revive my online journal, revamp it, and keep it going with a few posts a week on my thoughts, deep, stupid stuff in the recesses of my miiiiind, etc. (actually, I started keeping it again a few weeks ago, I'm just now mentioning it).

So, uhh, check it out. w00t...

...a plastic life | my online journal
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

cool stuff man.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

k, just a warning.

Don't say anything in there that you don't mind the whole bloody world reading.

Espically the people you write about. Because it can all go soo very wrong.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

ya know, upon thinking about it, I may remove the journal and go back to using the good ole' pen & paper...

at least with livejournal you can make your entries private, or friends only so less chance of people reading something you don't want them too .. i'm not sure if the other journals offer that.

Even so, its still something published on the internet that someone could read.

Like, if someone went on your computer and you were still loged into livejournal or something they could read all your journals.

Trust me, nothings private.

I went to unnecessary lengths to make sure people I didn't want to read my journal didn't. I used a relatively unknown site, I made up and renamed people. I created a new email address so no one could track it to mine. I said stuff that I never wanted anyone to read, but tried to phrase it in such a way that you couldn't really tell who was who. And yeah. That didn't work out. Now my blog is just a bunch of random meaning less rambles. No, it's less then that. Its more like small talk.

When I put something on the internet, it's best to assume that someone I know, can and will read it.

No one I know would care enough to search something out like that. Plus, you can always delete livejournal.

nobody uses my computer but me since it's in my room so i'm not worried about that and even if people did search out my e-mail address and found my journal it doesn't matter, unless they're on my friends list they can't read anything anyway so i don't care .. i use names and talk as freely as i would a private written journal.
