how much tax dollars go to every mile of road?
you do realize that there are few highways that actually span the width of Texas, where as i'm sure we have county roads that could span NJ. so clearly these small states only need to have minimal highways to span their girths.

Texas roads don't have all the traffic going between Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and New York City. I'm sure we have way more cars on our roads more frequently than you do.

we have 18 wheelers comming and going into mexico from canada, the us, and mexico itself. ft. hood sent all of it's humvees and trucks to corpus christi to send to iraq. we are the 2nd largest populated state so clearly we should have more people on the roads. some of you new yorkers don't have cars! we have these bunch of idiots running around with immaculate trucks because they do not understand that a truck is not a vehicle but a tool. tractors, we got some of those suckers on the roads. when's the last time you saw a plowed field in Jersey?

Texas roads could not be anywhere close to New Jersey. New Jersey has the worst roadways ever designed ever. It's bumper to bumper at NASCAR race speeds on any major highway. Plus with the stupid roads you can't make left turns on, tolls, and construction, its hell to drive on. Sorry Reno, Texas roads can not, and will not ever be worse than New Jersey. Ever.
