Funny that this thread should come up today.

This morning I was talking to a girl about shows we've had on campus before my time. She told me a story about Chad Kroeger, when Nickelback came here in January 2002.

I guess he was being a total dick to everyone. Nothing was good enough for him. He went to bitch at this girl and she wasn't listening. He grabbed her by the arm and yelled, "Can you hear me, woman?"

And she happens to have a reflex where whenever someone grabs her by the arm, she kicks them in the balls.

Ohmygod. She kicked him? That's the greatest thing I've ever heard.

And Nickelback's part of the hub cos Nate liked them, and he started the hub. It's part of his legacy.

I would never want to be in or work for a band like that. You should all get along decently with one another. I mean, it's gotta suck to be on the road for a few months with a guy like him.

I love all of Nickelback's old stuff, especially all of Sliver Side Up. Someday is a total sell-out though, and I'm not in favor of the new cd.... so, I guess I'm considered a fan but not a recent one. That didn't make sense did it....
