I don't think I've seen something like that. I'm assuming it's a surface piercing. They sell special barbells that are raised at the ends.

a surface piercing? they're cool. i don't think i would ever get it done though. they are supposed to grow out really fast.

surface piercings aren't worth it .. they get infected really easily, they catch on things easily and having something like that torn out will hurt like a bitch i'm sure, plus it will eventually migrate (grow) out .. the one piercer i go to HATES doing surface piercings because he thinks they're a waste of money
