I know all about Jim being from Seattle. They recently finished building a giant memorial there for him too. I own about 200 bootlegs cds of Hendrix, along with all the official releases. *burns guitar*

Do you have, or have you seen the Complete Monteray Pop Festival dvd? It's got most of Jimi's set, as well as Janis Joplin, The Who, The Byrds, Ravi Shankar, and a ton others. I just picked it up today and it's my second favourite box set (first being the Beatles Anthology). Well worth the money!

No. But I do have a boxed set of cd's of the Monterey Pop Festival. It has the entire JHE set, as well as the Mama's and Papa's entire set. It also has Booker T and the MG's, Ravi Shankar, Electric Flag, and a bunch of others. But no Janis Joplin though.
