Your boss is a closet homosexual.

As such he is dealing with the stresses of deciding on whether or not to tell his family, friends and the one he loves and how to do it.

He doesn't directly mean to seem like he hates you, but the reason he's gay is because he didn't have a very good female role model or authority figure/parent.

Perhaps he was abused by a single mother, who knows, but as such he doesn't treat his female employees with the respect they deserve.

I'm just kidding!

Now, seriously, people who are stupid, rude, obnoxious ignorant etc... were put on the earth to act as antagonists to the people who don't have those qualities, or should I say flaws.

An example that explains it best was how we have obstacles, hardships, sadness etc... because if everything were perfect, life would be bland and humans would get bored of it. It kind of rounds out an individual because you can't go through life having everything perfect and be a whole person without those experiences.

So in truth, they really aren't antagonists, but people with different traits so that not everyone is the exact same. We'd all be like clones or zombies if we all were smart, polite, courteous etc...

No one is perfect and that's probably the greatest gift of all.

You have to meet the people who come through my job everyday. I work with the public so trust me. I meet all types.

I have to say I love this thread and your wisdom-even if in jest. some answers brought a smile to my face.

Some have the belief it's because I'm older than time itself. However, this isn't true. In fact I value my youth. I'd prefer to be younger and even more naive like I once was, but then I wouldn't be such a good story teller would I?

So, I'll just say that I became incredibly wise when I was struck by lightning while reading the dictionary, riding a unicycle, eating an ice cream cone, balancing circus midgets on my head and talking on a cell phone all at once.

I wish I did! Duping stuff sounds like a jolly good time.

However I haven't gotten into the world of Computer gaming as much as I have with console gaming, so I must unfortunately decline.

However, one cause for procrastination could be ADD. If you have trouble focusing on tasks, or have no real ambition, you may just have it!

See a doctor if you're worried about having it. However, if everyone who procrastinated worried about having ADD, then everyone in this world who didn't have ADD would be the weird ones...

Stress can put tremendous amounts of emotional pressure on a person. Including draining their ambition. There are of course other reasons too, but that's the main reason and I'm not doctor, so I'd have to do more research to give you an in depth answer.

Other than that, I'd say read the posts about procrastination and maybe having ADD!

It could intrigue you!

Lando, can you make good bands play here once in a while so that I can go to a concert?

I'm getting bitter and resentful over the "Concerts" thread, and forcing bands to play shows in St. John's seems like the only way to make it all better.

you should become a big shot in the music industry, and then introduce a "low population density performance index" thereby forcing artists to perform in places like St. John's and Saskatoon. (And Yellowknife, those poor souls.)

it'll gain the nickname "CanCon's little brother" and then you can sit back and wait for them to name an awards show after you, just like Juneau.
