So the male version of "The pill" is soon to be out... only this is no pill. What I'm told is that it is an injection that needs to be taken every month and for that month spermatazoa production stops and any alive are killed. unlike the female birth control pill, there are apparently no side effects... except the whole "Ouch, big needle" deal. The pill has a lot of side affects including loss of sexual appetite, depression, some people have even experienced pregnancy related problems like mood swings and morning sickness. It's also easily interfered with by anti-depressants and anti-biotics.
Anyway, what I want to know is would any of you guys out there do it? Would you get that injection every month or would you let the lady take the pill? Or would you be more comfortable with regular contraception like a condom
There is no chance of me taking that. Its the ol' RPO for me.
With the fact that I'm a female aside, I say: slap the damn condom on and go, go, go!
Fuck the "male pill". Unless you are parnaoid and need that closure. But, either way, sounds quite absurd.
I thought that they already invented a male pill except studies showed that the men testing it continuesly forgot to take the pill making it useless.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
I would consider this if I was some sort of manwhore...
Sounds more like the kind of thing Josh could use.
Anyways, if I wanted to avoid pregnancy, I'd get the old snip snip. I'd probably do this if I was in a relationship and we didn't want kids, but it was still a possibility for the future.
I don't think it's necessary for both the guy and the girl to be on the pill .. some girls can't take the pill because of the insane side affects, so in cases like that it might come in handy .. other than that, it's not all that hard for a girl to remember to take a pill everyday .. or there's the shots for the girl too .. I personally would rather take the pill over having my guy worry about it.
Then again, my cousin is now pregnant and she was on the pill. So there's still that chance the pill will fuck up and it's very easy to fuck it up .. you miss the pill for one day and it can screw up the entire month for you and leave you at risk of getting pregnant anyway.
I don't trust just a condom though .. way too many things can go wrong there. My ex used to work at a store and they'd catch kids sticking pins through the condom packages. I guess it isn't funny .. fucking with someone's life like that.
The pill is good though, if you don't get the crappy side effects. For the girl anyway. I wouldn't ask my guy to do that.
actually although he couldn't technically get another guy pregnant, it's now possible for a man to carry a baby and have a c-section.

yes, well, whoever told you that was an outrageous liar. there are about a billion logistical holes in that statement.
moving on;
personally i think all intelligent single men should be on this. in this day and age, you can't take any chances with your sperm. giving men an option like this to guarantee that they won't be getting anyone pregnant is huge. think about it; a woman can tell you she's on the pill, but she can be lying, and you can still get saddled up with child support payments higher then what you make every month. with this, you don't have to worry.
now all we have to do is get a quick and easy legally binding consent form on the market so we can trim down some of the false rape claims, and sex will finally be decriminalized.
i just found out i have this weird disease called polycystic ovarian syndrome and they prescribed me birth control to keep it under control and they told me about the side effects and they don't sound that horrific....
HARDCORE!!!
OMG. I can't believe I din't think fo you
until now because when I think on
a scale of one to ten you're like YWELVE.
No, seriously?
well that could be because i could possibly get cancer if i don't go on the drugs and cancer is much worse than whatever side effects i could get from the pill
HARDCORE!!!

I was on the pill for 3-4 years and it actually improved things for me. Gave me awesome skin and no cramps. There's lots of different pills, so obviously if all these people are having 'hideous' side effects they're on the wrong one and should look into trying a different brand or a even a less stronger dosage.
My friend was on the pill since highschool because she used to get really painful cramps and this helped her. Generally there's no side effects .. some girls gain weight, some girls lose weight, some get clearer skin, others break out ..

ahh pcos .. they thought I had that .. i went through hell months ago getting tested for that .. pcos is when you have cysts on your ovaries, they prescribe the birth control because that sometimes makes the cysts disappear or shrinks them and makes it less painful but pcos has nothing to do with cancer .. at least my doctor made that really clear for me because i was freaking out .. turns out i tested negative for it but i do have cysts on my ovaries .. though i'm still convinced i'm dying cancer .. but yeah, they wanted me to go on birth control again to see if it would get rid of the cysts or shrink them because i still get really bad stomach pain from them
