You can take mine!

I've actually lost a bit of weight recently (which is actually a shock to me) and my resolution would be to keep it off...and to lose more.

Ok, I'm thinking I might post a few of my goals:

1. Lost that pesky 15 and be hot when I go to BYU
2. Go to BYU for at least a year, just so I can say I did it.
3. Find a major that is perfect for me.
4. Get happy!

3. pass science, geography, english and music  (2nd semester)
4. to stop procrastinating...yeah...right...
5. talk more...again, I know that won't happen
6. try harder at making it seem like im fine..so people will stop fucking bothering me

1. Lose weight (I don't get to eat anymore because I work 40 hours a week and take 16 credits, so this isn't too hard.)

2. Write some song on the guitar that doesn't make me want to cry.

3. Win Lauren back.

4. Write a legitimate love song.

5. Get signed.

OK, and out of those five things, I think I can do the weight thing. That's it.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

these new years resolution things never seem to work but here are a few of mine:

1. eat healthier (i eat pretty healthily already, but i wanna step it up)
2. work harder/stay on top of things better
3. stop getting completely trashed every time i drink
4. be a more generous person (not so much with money, but with emotions and time)
5. speak less and take in more.

I got a resolution, and actually it falls directly onto new years day...

I pray that I will make it through a "power hour" (from 12am to 1am) without puking.

For those of you who are unfortunate enough to know the 'power hour' its where you do a shot of beer, every minute, for an hour.

Try it sometime.......its grand fun.

I did that once with Smirnoff Ice. I did good. But that's the reason i don't like Smirnoff anymore. After having so much of it in that short of a time, made me hate the taste of it.

Why would you want to do that? Emotions make you human. Would you rather be a soul-less machine? I know too many people who are not emotional enough. Stifling your emotions is spiritual suicide.

I'm still working on realizing past resolutions so I'll go with something simple like resolving to call my family and friends more often.
