Just the profound analysis I would expect from someone as uninformed as you Alex. Why not try and debate the issue. You make it seem like you have a strong view on things, but you never elaborate on anything. Its like you're just spitting tiny fragments of some BS you read in a Michael Moore book. Not that this is ANY of my business, Venom, but its completely up to her whether or not she gets into a debate about this thread (or any other thread, for that matter). Just because politics, etc is your strongpoint, that doesn't give you the right to point fingers at people like such.

This is a public posting place......if she has something strongly opinionated to say, she'll say it. In the meantime, focus on your own statements and countering people that DO have something to say.

I guess I'm one of those left-wing europeans that dislikes (some things about) Israel, although I'm not 'intellectual'. But it has nothing to do with anti-semtism. I don't care what religion people have, everyone has the right to believe what they want. The problem with some Israeli people, mostly the richer, more influencal part (I'm sure the majority of Israeli people are great persons) is that they're arrogant assholes who think they can get away with anything because their parents or grandparents were victims of the second world war. Of course what happened then was undescribally horrible, but it doesn't give them the right to do the same to the Palestinian people. They should know better and realise that war isn't the answer. As long as both parties keep going on with these childish reactions to attacks of the other there will be never be peace.

If the US was "best buddies" with Israel they would let them kill Arafat like they want to, they wouldn't give the Palestinian Authority tons of money, etc. You say you're sick of people whining about Israel, then the same could be said about the Palestinians. They are the ones who get all the sympathy even though to my knowledge the only military force Israel has used is in direct response to suicide bombings!! They cannot be expected to sit back and watch their people be blown up everyday. This is why the wall is a fairly good idea (since the roadmap isn't working). Keep out the terrorists and you won't have to attack them.

Scenario 1:
You are a landlord and one of your tenants isn't paying rent, so you evict him.

You are a tenant and you don't like your landlord so you blow up the building you live in with dynamite strapped to your chest and without telling the other tenants to leave first.
