Before this goes to far where did you guys read that he was a murderer? I only read that he was a member of a terrorist organization (don't know if he carreid out any attacks), and that he ran away from Syria to avoid mandatory military service. These charges alone in my mind require him to be deported but if he murdered someone or some people there should be no argument!

Trust me, I understand your rationale. I just think this matter was handled wrong. I agree that terrorists are not a good thing to have in your country, but this man was only suspected as one, and that's what I have a problem with. He had a distant relative who was a member of a terrorist group, he wasn't. Just because he has a link to them doesn't mean he is a terrorist. There is ample evidence linking the Bush family to the Bin Laden's but the Bushs aren't labeled as a terrorist (well depending on what side of the fence you sit... but you know what I mean)

Another example. Your brother is a murderer. You, being an American, travel to England let's say and at the airport it pops up that you're linked to a murderer. Should something that you have no part in, cause you to be sent back to your home country? I would think not, especially in a country where you're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.

I think this is just going around in circles now anyways. Rather pointless really.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

See, those computers said I knew a murderer, not that I was one. This guy had a record saying that he killed someone in Syria and was a suspected terrorist. We don't just let murderers into our country as a safe haven, it's not our style.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

So what you're saying is that we should have let the murderer and suspected terrorist go on his merry way because he was able to escape Syria?
