The problem with imagration laws....is that they do not represent what the government really wants. (and what the US really needs) the reson the laws are so lax when it comes to imagrations is simple....the US wants illegal immagrants to come and work illegally in the United States. its not a real secret. in Dallas Texas alone.....4 billion dollars were sent over to relatives in Mexico from Mexican Nationals. And this only counts the ones that actually send checks or money orders to mexico. Thousands just send money over the mail system. They correspond to each other write every day and send money in every letter. If you look at the number of illegals working in the US right now....and you compared it to the number of people jobless....you will see that in fact...the number of illegals working is greater then the number of unemployed. to be blunt, the US needs the foreign worker to come in, earn a check, so that the government can tax it and keep most of this revenue. Not a whole lot of Illegals from many countries are fully aware of their rights as taxpayers. They just pay the taxes, and don;t look for much money, government services in return.

Wal-Mart sucks beyond reason. When i did work there, their thing with the unions is that there was a meeting every once and a while and that you could bring up the issues you have with the company. and since they do have this meeting, they say you don't need a union to talk for you. :freak: i saw right through that one.

then i would always hear that they did have workman's comp, but whenever someone got hurt, they never...EVER, paid for any bills.

and the godamn managers treat people like shit, there's no doubt about it. all i hear is them blaming something on someone, or blaming another manager.

and they're building a supercenter here too, the thing is the local HEB has overpriced fruits, so it's kind of welcomed. although this bad ass little shop where all the fruits come from the valley just opened up and there's no way Wal-Mart can compete with them. no freaking way.

Not totally related to the thread, but a bit of advice about WalMart

1. NEVER buy their tires....they sell Michelin for HIGH prices, and a buddy of mine's set were dusted only after 12,000 miles. Amazingly enough, he called Michelin to tell them that the WalMart rep said "they are the crappiest tires we sell", yet the most expensive. The Michelin CSR hung up on him.

2. Don't get an oil change from their "tire, lube, express" stations. Truth be told, one time they forgot to put the new oil IN my car.
