New Movie: 28 Days Later

Post by Neil »

Just saw this movie........I believe it was initially produced as an independent film.

Anybody else see this movie yet??? I'd like to hear some insights.....

If you haven't seen this movie: I do actually recommend it if you're into the "very far off, WHAT THE HELL" type of storylines.

Don't want to give anything away.....but its roughly about the end of civilization in England. A lab full of monkeys that have been injected with rage are set free from their captivity by several activists.

This rage........becomes an infection.

Imagine waking up in a hospital (like Jim, a main character) and finding that there is NOBODY around. The streets of cities are empty, its crazy.

Watch the movie........its pretty damn freaky.

I thought it was about SARS...

Well, I certainly got that wrong.

It reminds me of the G-Virus and Raccoon City for some reason.

The filming does seem documentary-ISH, but alas it isn't.

I found it to be: a slow start, pretty interesting through the middle, but then the ending freakin BLEW.

I'm sorry.....but the ending needed mass amounts of work. Hell, I didn't even check the DVD features to see if there were alternate endings, cuz I would've liked to see if they were better.

i have two problems with this movie.....

1. they show way too much Penis.

2. the original ending SUCKED. i never saw the alternate ending though,

i saw the alternate ending. at the end, when he gets shot, they take him to the hospital again, but this time they can't save him and he dies. then they both walk out with guns. so yeah, the alternate ending kinda sucked too.

i say both endings were good... the radical ending was shit... thank god they didn't use that one. But i loved the colors and the way they used all the digital stuff.

I thought it was a good movie. Same director that did Trainspotting. To whoever said Jeepers Creepers sucked you MUST be talking about the 2nd one (which I have yet to see) because the original was one of the best horror films in some time.
