I totally agree with Beatles - Hey Jude. They should definitely do more Beatles covers, both Dear Prudence and Tomorrow Never Knows are good.

Something by Muse, like New Born or Muscle Museum. I think Raine could do it really well.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Screw all these suggestions. If you ask OLP to cover a song, tell them to cover

REBEL YELL by Billy Idol... Seriously listen to this song... Raine could do a fuckin kick ass version on stage...

Nothing beats "London Calling" or "Train in Vain." If you don't know who makes those songs, you suck at life.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I would kill to hear 'fake plastic trees' by them.

But one that they haven't done...

'heart shaped box' by nirvana. I could only imagine OLP covering a nirvana song... it would be one of the best moments in music history. I think it would be really interesting to see how the guys would somehow make that song OLPish like they do with all the covers.

'thin spirits' by finger eleven would be awesome as well. However that would sure as hell never happen especially since a lot of OLP fans don't know about f11. I think that would also be really cool to see the guys change it into their own.

'bullet with butterfly wings' by smashing pumkins. Another classic song would be really cool to see them play. I don't know how well this one would turn out though...

'paint it black' by rolling stones. just think about that for a second...

'champagne supernova' by oasis.

I'd say out of all of these, heart shaped box would be my choice. The crowd would go absolutely insane. It would be incredible.

Not to insult you or anything, but I think the Smashing Pumpkins song is called "Bullet With Butterfly Wings." That song made me buy Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness, one of the most complete albums of the 90s, by far.

I'd like to hear them cover either Karma Police or Just by Radiohead. If they did Just, Raine would absolutely have to do the Thom dance. Or else it just wouldn't work.

Folks, you have to remember that Raine can't cover things with high notes anymore. There's a reason for the lack of falsetto. He can't. I mean, listen to him do some of the older songs live. When a falsetto part comes up, it's almost painful to listen to.
