I beleive Mini Disc production has been halted. If I can find the site, i'll post it.

And Susan iPods are definetly NOT worth the money! In Canada, anyways. The price (though the new iPod's are cheaper than the old version) Is still outrageuos.
I'll wait till they get down too $200-300 area.

soozy you'd probably be sleeping for at least half the length of those flights. I agree that the 8 hour battery life of an iPod is crap compared to a good cd players, 100+ hours of batery though!

arent they special rechargeable batteries? meaning that if the bateries run out they cant be replaced so you have to wait forever for them to regarge them.

also, if you can find that site teelo, post it please. Cause that would suck horribly if i bought one and couldnt buy disks.

HAH, it was so simple. www.minidisc.com
Im not exactly sure whom/what this applies too. But there ya go.

Oh, and yes, the iPod does have built in rechargeable batteries. There is however a neat technology that, in one hour the batteries will charge to about 80% and in the next 2, it will fill to 100%
Kind of odd.

Very true - but I tend to end up falling asleep with my music on when I'm on planes.

Anyway, i've gone against everyone's advice about ipods and minidiscs and bought a little tiny cute 512Mb player with an expansion slot so I can have more songs on media card thingamys. It is just so cute, and it sounds really good - I've put all my OLP mp3s on there and they sound great :)
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
