I don't cry very often
and when I do it is just for a few seconds
it is really hard for me to have a good cry
and when I am sad, that's what i need to do
i need to cry and get all the sadness out and then i feel better

ya me too, I usually cry when I'm myself in my room. Unless I'm really upset and stressed and just completely breakdown in front of a friend.

I cried twice in the past year. Once was I missed the Halloween Alkaline Trio show that I had tickets for, because I wrecked my car and had no way to get there. Bad day for Alan.
The other was after a Koufax concert when my ex finally dumped me. She started crying, then I started thinking, and yeah, I feel like a pussy. I didn't even like the girl that much. I guess I didn't want her to leave, seeing that we were together for about 9 months and all.

I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Anyways, I think its time we try and cme up with solutions. It is a support thread but I think the goal for everyone is to get to a point where they don't need a thread like this.
Generally I'm a happy person. I just try to be around people that I have a something in common with. If you're trying to fit in with people it's impossible for them to become a friend. There is always someone who enjoys doing something that you enjoy doing, whether it be play bocce ball, or go for jogs, or read or whatever. It can be difficult to find these things but it does help. Eventually you'll find that these interests will carry over to other things and possibly a new friend. It sounds somewhat corny, and many of you will probably say that you've tried this and it doesn't work, but from what I've found, this works pretty well.

eww ... but, but Tim Hortons scares me .. I mean, in the Lincoln Plaza, people actually bring their freakin' lawn chairs and camp out in the parking lot .. with their kids! It's disgusting .. I mean get a life ..

I live down the road from the lincoln one and it's ALWAYS packed. At 3am the other night the parking lot was full. Apparently it's one of the highest selling Tim Hortons in Ontario.I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

Jeff - here's what you need to do. First, find a sad emo song and put that on. Then, create a bunch of trivial problems for yourself to worry about. Then, no matter how much you succeed, continue to compare it to other peoples successes and belittle your own accomplishments. make sure to use lots of angst.
it will also help if you approach the person you want to date by being cold and distant, and when she becomes turned off by you, moan about how she doesn't like you and how nothing ever goes your way.

The last 2 months I've been really happy, having a good time and just enjoying my summer, but then yesterday happened and i'm finding it a little difficult to be happy. I just need to mope in my room for a day and I should be better tomorrow. I wish my best friend wasn't in another country right now, i need to talk to someone.
