Has anyone seen this movie? And if so, could you please explain it to me? :wtf:

it was a great movie. The first 10 minutes are pretty well " :wtf: " but it's pretty awesome. Reminded me so much of Magnolia.

It's nice to see Adam Sandler actually act. He needs to do a lot more of it, rather than the slap stick humour that he's been more likely to do.

You're joking, right? First off, the only time he's been funny was when he made slapstick humor. I wouldn't exactly classify Mr. Deeds and Big Daddy as slapstick...or comedy for that matter. They're just semi-comedic movies with a happy ending and a moral. In other words, garbage.

Second, the last time he made a slapstick comedy was either Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore. His other films just haven't been randomly funny. Airheads and The Waterboy were alright, and Mr. Deeds, Big Daddy, and the Christmas movie sucked.

I haven't seen Punch Drunk Love, but I really want to. It looked really interesting.

Billy Madison will always be the single funniest Adam Sandler movie EVER...

The rest don't even compare *sigh*.

But! My brother seemed to like Punch Drunk Love so maybe I'll look into it... because it doesn't seem to be in the same league as his other movies.

Big Daddy is great! And Mr. Deeds wasn't all that bad. I think Little Nicky was pretty bad, though it did have its gems.

I almost rented that movie tonight but instead I rented Gangs of New York and that totally sucked. I heard it was good but personally I didn't like it.

 I honestly don't even know what you're talking about with the "You're kidding right?" because it seems to me that we agree about this...

I don't like his other movies with the exception of Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison... and even then I can only stand those every once in a while. In Punch Drunk Love he actually acts. Like there's no stupid jokes or anything like that. He's actually acting rather than being a goof.

Oh, I considered Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore slapstick, and you said he should stop doing that. He hasn't done anything like that in forever.

 he's made some bad movie choices in the last 5 years. bill and happy were good, the waterboy had potential but they overdid it wayyyy too much, and since then everything with the exception of punch drunk love (which i havent seen) has been a let down
